Amphibian      2015 

This series highlights my own struggles in dealing with standards and choosing to either accept or reject them. I started this by looking and comparing photographs of myself throughout the  years, evaluating and   assessing  my development over time, and rendering the evolution of my dichotomous existence more   tangible. The  older photographs became the main source, due to their nostalgic and dreamy character,   which I hoped to  preserve and emphasize. Later, through a series of additions and substitutions to parts of  these pictures, I aimed to further refine the aesthetic elements as well as improve correspondence with the   underlying  concept and objective behind the work.
